Mountain Celebration Day, May 6th
Bernalillo County’s event is from noon to 4 p.m., at Los Vecinos Community Center, 478 ˝ Old Highway 66 in Tijeras. They'll reward this year's Outstanding Citizen Award winners and
have great live music, food vendors, and fun jumps for the kids. The Beach Zone is also sponsoring a skateboard competition (call the Beach Zone at 294-9610 to register). For more

Spring Green Pickup
FHV residents can recycle their green waste on two Mondays -- April 30th, and May 7th. Bags must not weigh more than 40 pounds each, and should be placed at the curb, at least five feet from regular trash containers, by 7 am.
